GenerateSignature.io ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at generatesignature.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our signature generator services.
2. Information We Collect
Signature Data (Client-Side Only)
When you use our handwritten signature generator, all signature creation happens entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to the signatures you create during the design process. Your name and signature data never leave your device unless you explicitly save to your account.
Account Information
If you create an account, we collect:
- Email address (for authentication)
- Password (stored hashed, never in plain text)
- Full name (if provided)
Saved Signatures
If you choose to save signatures to your account, we store the signature data (SVG/HTML content) and associated metadata in our database hosted on Supabase.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. We receive and store: transaction IDs, amounts paid, and product purchased.
Uploaded Images
If you upload profile photos or company logos for email signatures, these are stored in Supabase Storage under your user account and are only accessible via your account.
Analytics
We use Rybbit Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how our site is used. This collects anonymous, aggregated data such as page views and feature usage. No personal data or cookies are used for analytics tracking.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our signature generator services
- To process payments and deliver purchased products
- To save and retrieve your signatures when logged in
- To improve our tools based on anonymous usage patterns
4. Data Storage and Security
Account data and saved signatures are stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We implement row-level security so users can only access their own data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database and file storage hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — website hosting
Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and terms.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your saved signatures
- Opt out of analytics tracking (by using a browser ad blocker)

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
